What are good keywords?

Good keywords are words that have a lot of search traffic within the search engines, keywords with high traffic usually have a high rate of conversion. So, usually good keywords are the words that have more competition. So, are high traffic keywords good for you?

If you are a beginner probably not, I mean if you could rank for them at the top of the search engines then, yes they would be great for you. But if you are new to the game and you want to rank high for super competitive keywords then you have to start your optimization campaign in a whole different way.

So, in this case good keywords for you would be keywords that belong to a very competitive niche, but within that niche you have to find which keywords don’t have as much competition as the main keyword of the niche, so you can start optimizing for that keyword, then you will start to get traffic, links will build naturally, your PR will increase and then you will be ready to go after better keywords in your niche.

For example if you wanted to get to the top position in the search engines for the keyword “make money online” you would not want to start optimizing for that word, instead you should look for a keyword that has less competition, like “make some extra money”, then you would try to find two or three more keywords that you can realistically rank for.

After you rank for those keywords then you will get traffic, backlinks will come naturally, you will gain PR and authority, then after a while you move on to keywords that have more traffic, and more competition, as this process is repeated a couple of times your website will gain enough authority to go after the main keyword in your niche, in this case it would be “make money online”.

Choosing your keywords right is a fundamental part of good SEO practices, this is basically what keyword marketing is all about, in fact this is keyword marketing.

After you find your keywords, you can then go off to start doing some research to add or create content to your website, then you will have to set up correctly all the on page optimization factors, which are things like placing the keyword that you want to begin your optimization campaign in the title tag, place the keyword a couple of times along the content, bold or italicize the keywords a couple of times, use the h1 tags, and some other stuff that I will talk about later.

The final step to get those good rankings and a nice steady flow of traffic to your website is setting up the off page optimization factors. Off page optimization is probably the most important aspect of SEO, and the best way to boost your rankings all the way to the top of Google, Yahoo and Bing, which are the main search engines that we want to rank for.

If we get to rank at the top position in Google for the keyword “making money” then we will get thousands ofr hits a day, getting to the top of Google means that we have done something awfully right, so we would probably be ranking in the first page of Yahoo and Bing as well. The amount of traffic provided by such a great keyword would make you an extremely wealthy person, so you should try to practice SEO the way I have just explained it, because it is a sure fire way to rank well and make money.

To find these good keywords you should use the Google Adwords keyword tool, just search for it at google.com, it’s free. There are other softwares that you can pay for that will make your work a lot easier, I personally use some of them that have worked great, although most of the time products are pure hype, every now and then I get to find one that actually rocks! For example I use the keyword Elite software, which I have to pay for, but it is absolutely worh it. And there are other tools you could buy that I would recommend for better SEO campaigns, like SEO Elite, which is probably my favorite SEO tool.

So, keywords are just a small part of good search engine optimization, there many other things that I have already explained, like on page and off page optimization, but if you pick your keywords right your optimization efforts will have better results. If you start optimizing for a bad keyword, in this case a bad keyword would be a very competitive keyword or a keyword that has no competition at all, either way you would not get traffic, your site would not build links naturally, and your PR would never increase, therefore you would never rank. So, now you know why good keywords are the foundation of good SEO.

Off page optimization is basically about building high quality, relevant bakclinks, although any link that you get will help you, it is better to try to get backlinks from relevant web pages, preferably backlinks that come from pages with high page rank, if we get enough quality backlinks with our main keyword in the anchor text, then it is possible for us to outrank any website for any keyword, if we have optimized for that keyword the way I have explained in this post.

It is not a Scam, but many people become victims of scammers that promise that you will get rich working from home with a super secret automated system or formula. That is why many people start believing that creating a successful online business is not possible.

Working from home is definitely not a scam, think about it for one second, working from your computer is not the only way to make money at home, you can do a lot of different things that have been explained thoroughly in many pages of this website. But since I actually make a living from blogs and internet marketing, I want to focus on the reality of achieving full time passive income by posting. Most people think that it is a scam because they have the idea or they get the idea from lousy teachers that tell them that they should focus on social media traffic. Unfortunately social traffic is not worth a dime, the effective way to make money online, the “secret” which is not, is by being at the top of the SERP’s, through them you will get highly targeted traffic and you will make money from your Adsense ads, CPA leads, and affiliate products. This is the key to making money on the internet if you want to make money with a blog or a website.

My favorite way to earn money is by creating a niche website or a niche blog and making page one in the SERP’s for the terms I choose, the other cool thing about it is that after you start ranking for one good keyword you can try to rank for other related keywords and depending on the authority that you gain with that site you can even try to rank for unrelated keywords, and this will make the volume of your traffic increase exponentially. With a lot of targeted traffic or organic traffic as some call it you get the highest ratio of conversion.

If you are not interested in building a website or creating a blog, if you don’t want to deal with content creation, SEO, and traffic, then you can try other legit work at home options like ProjectPayday.com or TreasureTrooper.com, if you don’t want to deal with all the crap behind blogs and websites, and you want to make some good money then you can use both of these sites to make some extra cash every month. They are legit GPT websites that have helped a lot people work at home from their computers without having any technical skills, without knowing a thing about blogging, website building, html, SEO and all that stuff.

I do prefer making blogs and websites for a living becasue they make more money, usually, if you know how to do it, for some people the story can be a little bit different, maybe some people will tell you that blogging is a scam and GPT sites aren’t. One thing is for sure work at home opportunities are not a scam, you just have to find legit oportunities or real ways to make money online with blogs and websites.
